Sophomore Raymond Knox ran for 220 yards and two touchdowns on
just eight carries Friday night and fullback Jeremy Collins added
four scores to lift host Logan to a 38-21 win over Nitro.
Knox scored twice in the first half on runs of 80 and 90 yards as
the Wildcats (4-3) took a 26-7 lead at halftime. Collins scored on
runs of 13, 5 and 3 yards and a 45-yard interception return. He
finished with 120 yards on 28 carries.
Logan intercepted Nitro quarterback Derek Midkiff five times, but
Midkiff did throw for 388 yards and a pair of touchdowns, a 19-
yarder to running back Chris McGhee and a 24-yarder to Lance Ervin.
