I'm happy to report that the University of Charleston hands out more than diplomas. If you ever want a recipe for a dish they've made famous, you only need ask the irrepressible kitchen master, Jack Gregory, to be ceremoniously presented with a copy. "I wonder if you could get the recipe the University of Charleston uses for their vegetable lasagna," inquired Karen Brecht. "We were there for a Soroptomist fashion show and the lunch was yummy."

It only took one phone call and a visit to the pasta dinner during the Symphony Sunday festival to get the recipe. It even was transferred to me in solemn fashion, befitting a college.
