I thought pumpkin chili would be the end of pumpkin this year
(see the Nov. 29 Recipe Connection if you missed it). I didn't know
at the time that Nancy Hurley, owner of The Roasted Pepper and Four-
Legged Gourmet shops in Capitol Market, was going to do a delectable
demonstration and tasting. "I want to give simple and easy recipes
for party foods, side-dishes and desserts," said Hurley at her
latest Market show. "My ideas use convenient, keep-on-hand
ingredients for holiday gatherings and everyday use in general."
She was illustrating her products in very tasty ways, including a
new line of savory and sweet cheeseball mixes from Wind & Willow,
one being pumpkin pie flavor.
