Don't drink to this
Bad news for those of you who follow the "French Diet." British
scientists believe they have debunked the theory that France's low
death rate from heart disease is due to its high consumption of red
wine. Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine researchers report in
the British Medical Journal that France's low heart disease
mortality may have more to do with a traditional diet low in animal
fats than to its preferred beverage.
