Dear Nerd: I have one hard drive on my PC, but there are three
drives listed under "My Computer." One is C, which is where I keep
everything. The others are D and E. E is holding 500 MB of disc
space that I could use, but I don't know how to get it back onto C.
I have no need for the additional two drives, and would prefer to
only have one. How can I eliminate the two extra drives? - Todd, via

Dear Todd: The hard drive on your computer is partitioned into
several logical drives. OK, what in the heck does this mean some
people are asking? Before a hard drive can be used by an operating
system (Windows, for example) it must be set up in a way that the
