CLYDE 1 - MORTON 1. The points were shared in this rescheduled
encounter, but those who took in the game were not witnesses to
scintillating football in exchange for their hard-earned cash.
Pressure from the visitors was rewarded with Steven Whalen's
opening goal in the 55th minute when David Murie's corner was met by
Robbie Raeside's head. The ball bounced perfectly for Whalen at the
near post and the striker looped a header through Clyde keeper Bryn
Halliwell's fingertips and over the line.
