Article: Allergy expert slams 'Mickey Mouse' service

Scotland's top allergy expert claims patients suffering from hayfever, asthma and skin and eye allergies are getting a raw deal and admits that, at the moment, he is offering a "Mickey Mouse" service.

Professor Brian Lipworth, of Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, Scotland's only professor of allergy, warned that the lack of resources and trained staff means that the one in five Scots who now suffer from some form of allergy may miss out on life-enhancing treatment.
