MOST people like to think they can do a good Homer Simpson
impression. But the step up from parroting the most famous annoyed
grunt in popular culture - "D'oh!" - to doing a decent job of
invoking the spirit of over 50 characters from Matt Groening's hit
show is formidably steep.
Montreal-based actor Rick Miller, however, took it in one easy
stride, and then set about fusing his array of vocal facsimiles onto
that most hairy of Shakespeare's plays, Macbeth. The idea came about
in 1995 while Miller was making his professional acting debut in a
touring production of the Scottish play - "I was murderer number
two, and I had a lot of time on my hands," he recalls. What was
