The Buchanan County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale was held Sept. 9 at the St. Joseph Stockyards. Members from Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, DeKalb and Platte counties exhibited 95 head of swine, sheep and beef.

There were 44 entries in the swine division. The grand champion barrow was exhibited by Troy Sloan. The reserve grand champion and Buchanan County grand champion was shown by Brooke Parton. Lance Pierce showed the Buchanan County reserve champion. Lyndsey Parrot was named junior showman and Hannah Jackson the senior showman.

The sheep show consisted of 26 market lambs. The grand champion and Buchanan County champion lamb was shown by Jackie Campbell. Dustin Bauer had the reserve champion ...
