IT ISN'T quite as glamorous or flashbulb-popping as London
Fashion Week. But the world of interior design also has its annual
showing-off ritual, when new ideas are unveiled to a waiting
industry, when everyone rushes round telling everyone else how
wonderful they are. "Darling! The cut of your sofa is so fresh . .
. the colours!"
The first glimpse that anyone gets of the new European
collections of fabrics and furniture comes at Chelsea Harbour
Spring Week (March 22-25) when the glazed domes of the Design
Centre at Chelsea Harbour will throng with the country's best
architects, interior designers, their patrons and their clients.
