This year's high society sporting events are well under way with
Ascot and the Lord's test match grabbing the headlines last week
and Wimbledon starting tomorrow.
But people across the country will be trying to recreate the
festival atmosphere of these occasions at a host of smaller
sporting events and village fetes throughout the summer.
But with any public event there is the risk of accident.
For instance, earlier this year at Southall racecourse a horse
ran amok, kicking a small child out of a push chair and narrowly
missing several other members of the crowd.
