COMMUNITY relations work is proving "deeply nerve racking" for
the churches, the author of a new report has warned.
Dr Duncan Morrow, who has produced the book on church-based
community relations projects, said there were no "off-the-shelf"
answers.
He was speaking at the launch of the report, called The Story of
Us, which was funded by the Community Relations Council under the
European Peace Programme.
"For the Churches community relations work remains a deeply nerve
racking experience," said the academic, who has written a number of
reports on religious issues.
