SO, here we go again. Another season filled full of hopes and
dreams.
Over in Scotland, of course, they started a fortnight ago. In
England the Premiership gets underwaynext week.
For the Irish League, however, the big kick-off is this weekend.
For the past two seasons Linfield have strolled to title glory. With
respect to David Jeffrey's men, I hope the same thing does not
happen in 2001-2002.
Let's have abattle that goes down to the wire with two or, better
still, three teams fighting it out.
Linfield will obviously be in the reckoning. It's up to Glentoran
and Coleraine to challenge them.
It's all very well beating the Blues on a one-off occasion as
both the Glens and Bannsiders did last ...
