FOOD safety chiefs have shut down more premises in Donegal that
anywhere else in Ireland this year, itemerged today.
According to the Food Safety Authority a total of ten food
outlets in the border county have been served either closure
orprohibition orders.
Eight premises have been ordered to shut down while Dublin has
had just six closures and the largest county, Cork, running a close
second to Donegal with seven food outlets closed until their
premises is up to the required standard.
The new"name and shame" policy ofFood Safety Authority means all
the blacklisted premises are revealed on its website.
