UP to 100m is currently being pumped into the infrastructure of
Londonderry city centre, according to the man charged with leading
the future development of the area.
Paul Cavanagh, Chief Executive of the City Centre Initiative,
said he was confident more investment would follow as plans for the
regeneration of the city centre come to fruition.
Mr Cavanagh was speaking at the launch of the Strategy for the
City Centre 2002-2005 document which will act as a blueprint for the
development of the area.
The strategy, an updated version of a document first released in
1999, deals with a wide range of issues facing Derry city centre,
