THE Scottish Executive is offering shares in an #8million fund.
A further step has been taken towards the establishment of the
Scottish University for Industry (SUfI) and the chance to develop
learndirect scotland learning centres across the country.
The Capital Modernisation Fund, administered by SUfI on behalf of
the Executive, will give grants ranging from #1000-#100,000 for
existing or new learning centres.
The money can be used for software, hardware and
telecommunications, to provide modern computerised learning
facilities or for physical works, to create a welcoming and
comfortable learning environment.
