Gerald Ronson, visionary property magnate, relentless autocrat,
multi multi-millionaire and ex-convict, is surveying his new empire.
He is standing in the middle of Heron City, a lavish entertainment
and leisure park, which sits in 20 acres on the outskirts of Madrid.
And he isn't happy.
Nearby several of his staff and even his daughter Nicole are
scurrying around to make sure that Heron City's light show and
musical fountain displays are a success. The $5m installation has
been the bane of everyone's life since it arrived. The lights
sometimes fail and the water from the fountain is leaking across the
main square.
Ronson is a perfectionist and expects nothing less from his
