DES MOINES - The Dubuque County Farm Bureau kept up its track
record of collecting accolades at this year's annual Iowa Farm
Bureau Federation annual meeting in Des Moines.
The Dubuque County Farm Bureau received top awards in 12 of 13
categories designated by the state organization.
"We were very fortunate this year, we had a very good year," said
Matt Heitz, immediate past-president of the county Farm Bureau. "It
was a team effort. A lot of the members helped out. Basically, it's
Farm Bureau working for its members."
Heitz spent Wednesday afternoon at the annual meeting fielding
