Time to toilet train dog I have a four-year-old Yorkshire Terrier
bitch I bought 12 months ago. She is still not house trained, and I
would like advice on whether this is possible at her age.
It is always difficult to house train a dog later on in their
lives, but it is not impossible. You have to work out why your dog
is using your home as their toilet, and not the outside!
Firstly, make sure your dog has no medical or behavioural cause
for this problem by consulting your vet, the vet will be able to
give advice on house training as well. If your dog's health is OK,
you will need to work out why your dog is using the house in this
way.
