A royal Navy Reserve Chief Petty Officer from Torpoint has taken
her last class at HMS Raleigh after 20 years of inducting new
recruits.
Cpo Susan Goldfinch joined the RNR in 1974 and is a member of the
Plymouth-based unit HMS Vivid.
She is due to leave the service next year.
In civilian life Susan is employed by VT Flagship as a training
support officer at HMS Raleigh, the Torpoint-based Royal Navy
establishment.
For the last two weeks she has donned her naval uniform to pass
on her extensive knowledge of the Royal Navy to the latest group of
RNR recruits as they completed their two-week basic training course.
