Article: Point Harmony Elementary debuts new media center addition

The new computers are freshly wired, and the paint is bold and bright in Point Harmony Elementary School's new media center.

The half-million-dollar, 2,550-square-foot addition, which contains a new library and technology lab, opened at the Cross Lanes school at the beginning of the new school year.

"It was the 2007-2008 major improvement project for Kanawha County," said Point Harmony Principal Darlena Reynolds.

Most of the funding for the project came from the West Virginia School Building Authority.
