Article: Cranberry crop looks bountiful

Wisconsin's cranberry harvest will be the second-largest in history this year if U.S. Department of Agriculture projections are correct.

The department predicts that the state will yield 3.85 million barrels of cranberries during the fall harvest, a 4% increase over the 3.71 million barrels last year. The snowy and cold winter helped the yield by putting a coat of ice on the vines, which protected them from winter conditions.
