JEFFERSON CITY - Kenny Hulshof, the Republican candidate for governor, called today for the creation of an inspector general's office to investigate and possibly prosecute cases of state government corruption.

Speaking to reporters on the steps of the state Capitol, Hulshof used the opportunity to criticize his opponent in the governor's race, Attorney General Jay Nixon, accusing the Democratic candidate of conflicts of interest.
