GORGEOUS WHITE sands, crystal clear water and luxury on an island
resort seemed like an ideal honeymoon for Sarah and Dean Bree of
Redwood City.
Instead, two days into their trip on Turks and Caicos Islands,
the newlyweds were trying to catch a flight before Hurricane Ike
made landfall last month.
They waited 13 hours at the airport before finding a flight back
to the Bay Area. It took five more days for their luggage to arrive
home, too.
"It wasn't fun," Sarah Bree admits. "But I've heard worse horror
stories."
