Edward J. (Ed) Trump Sr., of Christiansburg, passed away Monday,
October 6, 2008, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a retired
employee of VDOT, with over 30 years of service. Following his
retirement he was a funeral assistant with Horne Funeral Service
until his death. A member of Cedar Springs Church, he was a proud
honorary member of Christiansburg Rescue Squad. The son of the late
Henry J. and Lakie M. Trump, he was also preceded in death by his
sister, Rosa T. Hinkley. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Jean M.
"Granny" Trump; children and spouses, Edward J. "Eddie" Trump Jr.
and Paulette A., Christiansburg, Kathy and Jim Harvey, Blue Ridge,
Va., Debbie and Terry Akers, Shelby ...
