Autumn's here, and that means our central heating is back on but,
after the summer's big fuel, price rises, are we ready for the bills
that come with it?
The summer is now committed to memory as we drift seamlessly into
autumn, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness and flu jabs!
Suddenly it is getting dark alarmingly early, the leaves are
beginning to show their seasonal colours and the wind is blowing
from the north.
The central heating has made its comeback, regardless of
resolutions made in the warmer weather to cut back this winter. The
staggering increase in fuel prices is temporarily forgotten as we
reach for the switch in an effort to keep warm; heat now, pay later
