Bare land - without farmhouses - continues to sell at a premium,
and Strutt & Parker have guided 371.67 acres of productive arable
land at Cary Fitzpaine, near Yeovil, at pounds2,095,000.
The holding is currently farmed in hand with a crop rotation of
wheat and oilseed rape. Classified as Grade 3, the soil is Evesham
3, slowly permeable calcerous clay and fine loam over clay. It is
drained and suitable for short-term grassland as well as winter-
