Three Evansville lawyers, each with experience in a specific area
of law, are candidates in a nonpartisan election race for Superior
Court judge. The winner will fill the seat being vacated on the
seven-judge court by Judge Scott Bowers, who is retiring.
The candidates are Vanderburgh Circuit Court Magistrate David D.
Kiely, 45; Vanderburgh Superior Court Magistrate Jill R. Marcrum,
47; and Vanderburgh Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Michael Perry, 46.
After interviewing all of the candidates and studying their
records and their answers to questions, we have come to the
conclusion that each of the three has strengths that commend each to
