The hype surrounding the Big Seven showdown between No. 1 Thomas
Jefferson and No. 3 Chartiers Valley faded just minutes after the
kickoff Friday night at Jaguar Stadium.
Like every other team with hopes of handing Thomas Jefferson its
first conference loss since 2005, Chartiers Valley left
disappointed.
Thomas Jefferson proved its dominance again with a 33-0 victory
over Chartiers Valley.
Running back Brian Baldrige highlighted Thomas Jefferson's ground
game with 78 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Thomas
Jefferson quarterback Tyler Wehner engineered the air attack,
completing 9 of 18 passes for 155 yards, including a 13-yard
touchdown pass to Zach Battis.
