swing legends the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra (founded 1927) or the Pied
Pipers (founded late 30s) could be alive and swinging today. But the
keepers of their legends troupe on, witness the Dorsey-Pied Pipers
double bill, America's Hits on Parade, at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the
