Del. Nic Kipke, R-Pasadena, was campaigning door-to-door in
Riviera Beach in 2006 with his wife, Morgan, when they got hungry.
"It was hot; we were hungry and tired," he said. "A neighbor down
there told me we should stop by Gourmet Pizza so we went in and had
a great lunch and we've been going back ever since."
As it has for many north county residents, Gourmet Pizza, which
is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, has become a regular
lunch stop.
"For a restaurant to thrive over 20 years is nothing short of a
great accomplishment," Mr. Kipke said.
He joined Del. Don Dwyer, R-Glen Burnie, Del. Steve Schuh, R-
Gibson Island, and Sen. Bryan Simonaire, R-Pasadena, last month to
