Giant, Safeway hold grand openings
Giant Food held a grand opening ceremony last week for its
remodeled Severna Park store on Ritchie Highway.
Meanwhile, Safeway has planned its grand opening for the
rebuilding of its store on Route 2 in Arnold to be Thursday.
Officials from both companies said the stores will provide
customers with more convenience and options.
At the Giant of Severna Park, the new 63,000 square-foot store
will feature improvements to the produce and perishable departments,
as well as a new interior decor, including new store signage and
larger food and pharmacy departments. The Giant also will have an
