MILLERSBURG -- Republican Anita Hall will become the next Holmes
County recorder after she won a three-way race to fill the position
being vacated by Sally Miller.
Hall, who is now a deputy clerk in the Holmes County Clerk of
Courts Office, won with 6,321 votes, 63.74 percent, according to
unofficial results from the Holmes County Board of Elections. The
results will be certified later this month. Democrat Gerald Bukosky
received 2,056 votes, 20.73 percent, and independent Jolene Chupp
garnered 1,540 votes, 15.53 percent.
"I'm just very pleased. I worked really hard," Hall said.
