MILLERSBURG -- Republican incumbent Joe Miller will be serving
another term as Holmes County commissioner after winning Tuesday's
race against Democrat candidate Les Roach.
Miller won re-election over Roach with 6,657 votes, 62.95
percent, to 3,918 votes, 37.05 percent, according to unofficial
results from the Holmes County Board of Elections. Results will be
certified later this month.
Turnout in Holmes County was 62.7 percent with 11,389 ballots
cast, according to the board. There were 3,189 residents who voted
early, and 98 cast provisional ballots, which will be counted Nov.
15.
