Article: Man faces 11th count of indecent exposure

MILLERSBURG -- An attorney representing a Brinkhaven man charged with two counts of indecent exposure will seek a motion reducing the possible penalties his client is facing.

Gerald Mowery, 53, 32883 Township Road 352, cannot be charged with a felony for what would be his 11th indecent exposure conviction because he did not have legal representation when pleading to past charges, said his attorney, Andrew Hyde.

Hyde said Wednesday he will file a motion that states Mowery was represented by counsel two times or less when pleading to prior offenses. If the motion is upheld by Common Pleas Judge Thomas D. White, a felony charge against Mowery will be reduced to a ...
