Roots & Ties II will be a special evening celebrating five
artists with Oklahoma ties, presented by and benefiting Untitled
(ArtSpace), an art gallery at 1 NE Third St. The dinner will be in
the gallery at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, preceded by cocktails at 7 p.m.
The five artists will be Joe Andoe, Carolyn Brady, Petah Coyne,
Bill Goldston and David Salle, all of whom were born in or reared in
Oklahoma, before traveling to the East Coast to find artistic
success. Their paintings, prints, watercolors, photographs and
sculptures examine the effects of geography and personal history on
their creative process. Their art will be on view at Untitled Nov.
14 through Jan. 24.
