Oklahoma Blood Institute donors now have the option to forgo
receiving donor incentives, such as T-shirts or backpacks, in favor
of having Oklahoma Blood Institute contribute an equitable amount to
the developing blood centers through the Global Blood Fund.
The fund will help blood centers in developing countries gain the
equipment and expertise to ensure a safe, local blood supply.
