David W. Ritchey, 74, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord
on Friday, November 7, 2008 surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles L. Sr. and
Helen Irene (Harsh) Ritchey. David was the husband of Norma J.
(Leighty) Ritchey. They would have celebrated 55 years of marriage
on November 17th.
Mr. Ritchey graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in 1952. He
was employed by the Lancaster Newspaper Company in the Circulation
Dept. for 17 years, Kirchoff, Inc. in Neffsville for 17 years,
finally retiring from Young's Refrigeration in June of 2007. He was
a devoted father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather. All of
