Rhoda H. Fisher, age 87, of 364 Arcadia Trace Road, Peach Bottom,
PA died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at her residence. Rhoda was the
widow of Paul R. Fisher who died in 1964.
She was born in Lampeter, a daughter of the late David S. and
Mary Huber High. Rhoda retired from DuPont in Wilmington, DE where
she had been employed as a supervisor in the chemical lab. Following
retirement, she owned and operated Jockey Lot Flea Market in
Drumore. She was a member of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church,
Quarryville. She was also a member and Past President of Soroptomist
International, Quarryville, a member and Past President of
Quarryville V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the 9 Holers Golf Club. She
