Enginering firm Centrax has won a three-year battle to develop a
business park near its Newton Abbot factory.
The company won its appeal after Teignbridge councillors refused
planning permission twice, against officer advice, for the multi-
million pound, 60-unit, high-end business park.
The park, which also includes a new road layout and sports area
on land at Milber, could create hundreds of new jobs and encourage
businesses into the area.
Teignbridge Council leader Cllr Alan Connett welcomed the
decision.
He said: "I supported this application from the start. It's
essential to retain and create jobs in Teignbridge, and also to
support vital manufacturers like Centrax.
