A quarter of a million pounds has been pledged to a Visitor
Interpretation Centre scheme in Exmouth.
The money has come from the county council's Investing in Devon
fund, which is made up of the pounds48m proceeds from the sale of
Exeter International Airport last year.
Plans for a visitor centre have been included in Asda's proposed
scheme for the bus depot in town but, as yet, no location for the
centre has been agreed.

executive board meeting the appointment of specialist advisors so
that any proposals which are approved can be moved on as quickly as
possible.
