Article: New Wiltshire air ambulance clothing banks.

Following on from the success of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance's lone charity shop in Westbury, appeal bosses have launched Clothing and Shoe Banks across the county.

The large static deposit boxes are being placed in locations across Wiltshire and will hold hundreds of bags of unwanted clothes and shoes.

The first was launched in Devizes this week, at Devizes Textiles on the Garden Trading Estate. Another is now in place at Police HQ in Devizes.

These will then be handed out to families in Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Under the Recyclatex Bonded Textile Bank Scheme, for each bag of clothes a donation will be made to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal (WAAA).
