I'm going to get dead serious here; by that, I mean political.
I'm hearing loud applause in the wake of Barack Obama winning the
United States presidential election.
He's a fresh face all right, and encompasses black, white,
Christian and Islam, and as such is being hailed as the new Jack
Kennedy.
Personally, I think we're putting too much faith in the man; he's
most definitely got his work cut out. As President of the most
powerful state in the world, he's expected to take a lead in solving
the global financial crisis - once old Lost in the Bush has stepped
aside.
The home crowd - namely the folk who voted for him - are
expecting him to reassert America's place in the world rather than ...
