Article: Carolyn Livengood column: South San Francisco Adult School celebrates 75 years

LOTS OF FUN and lovely weather highlighted South San Francisco Adult School's 75th anniversary celebration Oct. 15 at the school's main campus at 825 Southwood Drive.

Administrator Jim Murphy welcomed nearly 300 students from a variety of classes, including art, electronics and English as a second language. Special guests included South San Francisco Mayor Pedro Gonzalez, school district Trustee Emmanuele "Midge" Damonte, Schools Superintendent Barbara Olds, and former adult school administrator Alvaro Bettucchi.
