Article: Pop music: Live 105's Not So Silent Night show boasts Killers, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand

It's been a long time since we've seen a Not So Silent Night concert lineup as good as this year's. The 2008 edition of radio station KITS-FM 105.3 (Live 105)'s annual Christmastime party looks to be one of the season's top concerts. The Killers, arguably the most popular alt-rockers on the planet, are the big headliners, followed by Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Death Cab for Cutie and Jack Mannequin. Two of those bands -- Bloc and Franz -- rank as especially good live acts. So, kudos to Live 105 for putting together a Not So Silent Night worthy of our attention (and here's hoping that the station succeeds in similar fashion with its summertime BFD concert).
