Ricky L. Paulson, 61, of 819 Merz Street, rose over the rolling
rivers to the opening arms of heaven at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30,
2008, at home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Holy Trinity
Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Joan Haug officiating. Burial will be
in Dubuque Memorial Gardens, south of Dubuque. Friends may call from
4 to 8 p.m. today at Hoffmann-Schneider and Kitchen Funeral Home,
3860 Asbury Road. Friends also may call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Saturday at the funeral home.
He was born on Dec. 11, 1946, in Mason City, Iowa, son of
Clifford and Opal (Anderson) Paulson.
He met his future wife, Connie Zubrod, while attending NICC,
