If a bitter labor dispute with the Port Authority halts bus service, "I'd have to walk," said the Brighton Heights resident who works Downtown. "It's going to be hard on a lot of people."

The possibility of a Dec. 1 shutdown of the bus and T system by the Port Authority has been delayed temporarily as union leaders are in Washington to confer with labor representatives about getting contract talks back on track, officials said Saturday.
