Article: Stone Bridge Routs Edison, Faces Phoebus

In his speech following No. 2 Stone Bridge's 35-6 victory over ninth-ranked Edison on Friday night, Bulldogs Coach Mickey Thompson praised his team for a strong performance against "a very good football team."

The Bulldogs' offense had sputtered early but put up 35 points on an Edison defense that had allowed just 10 points per game entering Friday night's matchup. And the defense had been spectacular, forcing three turnovers, blocking a punt and shutting out the Eagles until late in the game.
