Eurozone industrial new orders rebound in July

BRUSSELS, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- The eurozone industrial new orders rebounded by 1.0 percent in July compared with the previous month, the European Union (EU)'s statistics bureau Eurostat said Tuesday.

The index also increased by 1.6 percent over 12 months ago, following a monthly drop of 0.5 percent and a yearly decrease of 7.2 percent in June, according to revised figures from Eurostat.

However, excluding ships, railway and aerospace equipment, eurozone industrial new orders fell by 1.4 percent over the previous month in July, during which new orders for transport equipment recorded the largest monthly growth of 10 percent.
