UN chief urges immediate end to hostilities in DR Congo

UNITED NATIONS, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- United Nations Secretary- General Ban Ki-moon on Thursday called for an immediate cessation of hostilities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and urged support for efforts to find a political solution to the crisis in eastern DRC.
